1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading or accessing the PlanMate mobile application, or visiting our website (https://planmate.interviewsphere.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use PlanMate. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law.

3. Account Registration & Security

When you register, you agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at planmate@proton.me if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

PlanMate is built on mutual respect and positive real-world experiences. You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Harassment & Intimidation: Stalking, bullying, threatening, or intimidating any member.
• Hate Speech: Promoting discrimination, violence, or hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
• Sexual Misconduct: Distributing explicit sexual imagery, solicitation, non-consensual sharing, or grooming behavior.
• Fraud & Deception: Phishing, running commercial scams, misleading event listings, or payment fraud.
• Impersonation: Misrepresenting your identity, credentials, or claiming affiliation with any person or organization without authorization.
• Illegal & Hazardous Acts: Organizing illegal activities, violence, weapons distribution, or dangerous gatherings.
• Spam & Commercial Abuse: Mass messaging, unsolicited promotional broadcasting, or web scraping.

5. User-Generated Content & License

You retain all ownership rights to the photos, text, activity descriptions, and messages that you post to the Services (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content to public or shared areas of PlanMate, you grant PlanMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and delivering the Services to you and other members.

6. Activities & In-Person Meetup Terms

PlanMate provides software discovery tools that allow members to create, find, and coordinate real-world activities. When hosting or joining an activity:

• Hosts: You are responsible for ensuring your activity description is honest, meets our safety guidelines, and takes place in a safe, lawful public setting.
• Attendees: You agree to arrive on time, respect the host and fellow participants, and follow venue regulations.
• No Guarantee of Attendance: PlanMate does not guarantee that hosts or participants will show up to scheduled plans.

8. Safety Moderation & Account Suspension

We provide built-in in-app reporting and blocking features. We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to monitor, review, remove, or restrict access to any content or activity that violates our policies. We may suspend, disable, or permanently terminate accounts that engage in harassment, fraud, safety violations, or repeat infractions.

9. Fees & Future Paid Services

Basic access to PlanMate is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce optional premium features, ticketed activities, or creator subscriptions in the future, all applicable prices, renewal terms, and payment processing disclosures will be presented clearly prior to purchase.

9A. Paid Plans, Bookings, Payments & Refunds

In addition to the basic access described above, hosts may create paid Plans/Activities where enabled. Participants may be required to pay before joining a paid activity. Review the displayed price, activity details, and applicable booking terms before making a payment.

Payments are processed through supported third-party payment providers. PlanMate provides a technology/platform service and is not a bank. Booking and payment status are determined by authoritative PlanMate platform and payment-provider records; a debit notification alone does not establish a confirmed booking.

Cancellation and refund eligibility are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, the applicable booking terms, and applicable law. Refund initiation and the time taken for a credit to appear in your account are separate steps and may depend on the payment provider and your bank or payment method.

Failed, duplicate, or disputed transactions can be reported through Support or by emailing planmate@proton.me with your booking and transaction references.

10. Intellectual Property

The PlanMate name, logo, software code, UI interfaces, illustrations, and brand assets are the exclusive property of PlanMate and are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

11. Warranty Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PLANMATE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR LOSS OF PROPERTY ARISING FROM IN-PERSON MEETINGS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICES.

12. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by following our Account Deletion Procedure. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms or present an unacceptable risk to our community.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If revisions are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the app or via the updated date on this webpage. Continued use of our Services following any change constitutes acceptance.
